The Limited Edition marked ten years of the Gold Wing and was the first Gold Wing with fuel injection. It was based on the GL1200 tourer but carried extra luxury equipment, which made it noticeably heavier than the Aspencade. Production was limited to 5,372 bikes, all for the North American market.
