The second year of the GL1800 Gold Wing, carried over largely unchanged from the all-new 2001 machine. A fuel-injected 1832 cc flat-six sits in an aluminium multi-box frame, where it also acts as a stressed member, with a single-sided Pro Arm swingarm at the rear. Linked brakes with optional ABS, reverse gear, cruise control and a built-in audio system made it a full-dress luxury tourer.
