The 2004 Gold Wing kept the GL1800 recipe intact: a smooth flat-six, aluminium chassis and generous storage in the trunk and saddlebags. Riders got cruise control, an electrically assisted reverse gear and a Panasonic sound system as standard touring kit. It remained a carry-over year in the first GL1800 run.
