The production Monkey 125 brought the name back in 2018 as a modern, road-legal take on the toy-like original. It uses the fuel-injected 125 cc air-cooled single and 4-speed gearbox from the MSX125, but with upside-down forks, twin rear shocks, 12-inch wheels, LED lights, a round LCD meter and IMU-controlled front ABS. Chrome and retro paint keep the look close to the classic Z50.
