The Rothmans replica was the NS 125R in the colours of Honda's Rothmans-sponsored Grand Prix team. It was tied to the up-spec RII, which added a second front disc and a solo-seat cover over the standard R, for about 300,000 lire more. Engine and chassis were otherwise the same as the NS 125R.
