The 1995-1996 NSR125R-R continued the JC22 design with little change: a faired 125 cc two-stroke single, six-speed gearbox, Showa forks and Pro-Link rear. UK bikes came restricted to learner-legal output, and magazine testers felt the derestricted bike was transformed. Its handling remained its strongest point.
