Honda file

Honda launched the PC800 Pacific Coast for 1989 as a fully enclosed touring commuter for riders who wanted to arrive in work clothes, with a car-like integrated clamshell trunk instead of panniers. The 1989 bike came in pearl white and the 1990 in red; 1989 trunks could rub the rear tyre, a fault fixed for 1990. Under the plastic is a Shadow-derived liquid-cooled V-twin with hydraulic valve adjusters, hydraulic clutch and shaft drive. High price and slow sales meant Honda paused it after the 1990 model year.
