The VFR750R, known by its frame code RC30, was a limited-production homologation special that let Honda race its RVF750 endurance and TT technology in the new World Superbike series. Its 748 cc V4 sat in a race-style frame with a quick-change single-sided Pro-Arm swingarm and a quick-release front wheel. It launched in Japan in 1987 and became one of the most revered road-going race replicas of its era.
