The Riding Assist-e was an experimental electric motorcycle that applied balance-control technology from Honda's ASIMO humanoid robot work. Following the NC750S-based Riding Assist shown at CES 2017, this newly designed electric version could keep itself upright at a standstill and at walking pace, steering itself to stay balanced with or without a rider. It was a research showcase aimed at reducing low-speed tip-overs, not a production model.
