The SLR650 was a cheaper, more road-biased spin-off of the NX650 Dominator, using the same air-cooled 644 cc four-valve single in a simpler package with a 19-inch front wheel, a lower seat and no fairing. Built in Spain, it was lighter than the Dominator and was meant as an easy, low-maintenance single for commuting and back roads rather than serious trail riding.
