The original ST1100 Pan European was Honda's purpose-built long-distance sports-tourer, developed with input from its European importers for high-speed motorway travel. Its longitudinal 1084 cc V4 sat in a steel frame with shaft drive, a full fairing, a 28-litre tank and integrated panniers, trading outright sportiness for smooth, relaxed mile-eating.
