The mid-1990s ST1100 ABS carried on as a refined long-haul tourer; for 1996 Honda upgraded the ABS model with its Linked Brake System, which shares braking force between front and rear, plus a larger 43 mm fork. The smooth longitudinal V4, shaft drive and big 28-litre tank were unchanged.
