The 2005 ST1300 carried on unchanged in substance: a smooth chain-cam V4 with twin balancer shafts, fuel injection, shaft drive and Honda's linked braking. Integrated lockable panniers, a power-adjustable windscreen and a split fuel tank holding 29 litres make it a dedicated long-haul tourer that still handles better than its weight suggests.
