The 1985 VF500F Interceptor carried over the 1984 bike's 498 cc V4, six-speed gearbox and half-faired sports chassis. It remained a light, quick-steering middleweight that suited winding roads. It was sold until 1986, and Honda's CBR600F replaced it in 1987.
