Honda file

The 1986 VFR750F (RC24) was a ground-up replacement for the VF750F Interceptor, whose cam-chain-driven V4 had earned a poor reliability record. Honda kept the 90-degree V4 layout but switched to gear-driven camshafts, a 180-degree crank and a light aluminium twin-spar frame, with 16-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels. It quickly became the benchmark all-round sports bike of its day.
