The 1989 K-model was the final year of the RC24 and continued the facelifted 1988 specification unchanged in any major way. It kept the three-piece fairing, 17-inch wheels, 41 mm anti-dive fork and gear-driven-cam V4, and was replaced the following year by the all-new RC36.
