The 1991 M-model continued the RC36 VFR750F with the same frame, single-sided swingarm and 748 cc V4 as the 1990 bike. Changes were limited to colours and details, and the model was valued for its broad, smooth power, neutral handling and comfortable ergonomics as a sports-tourer.
