The Interstate is the touring version of Honda's VT1300C cruiser family, adding a windscreen, floorboards, a pulled-back handlebar and leather-covered hard saddlebags to the 1312 cc fuel-injected V-twin, shaft drive and raked chassis shared with the Sabre and Stateline. It was launched for 2010 after its debut at the Toronto show in December 2009, and in its first year it was the only VT1300C without an ABS option. Road tests praised its finish and brakes but found it heavy at low speed and better suited to regional trips than long hauls.
