The 1986-87 VT250F is the third-generation MC15 model, a full redesign with new bodywork, a cable-operated clutch, a 35 mm Showa fork and a monoshock rear. It stayed a half-faired sports 250 with the DOHC 90-degree V-twin and six speeds, and was the last VT250F before the aluminium-framed Spada took over in late 1988.
