The C2 Shadow Spirit moved the Spirit name onto the Aero's shaft-drive mechanicals, giving it chopper-style geometry with a tall, skinny 21-inch front wheel, bobbed fenders, short dual pipes and a one-piece low seat. It traded the old chain-drive Spirit's twin carbs for the Aero's single-carb engine and low-maintenance shaft.
