The Shadow RS (VT750S in export markets) was a retro roadster spin on the 750 V-twin, with a more upright riding position, a shorter wheelbase, a 19-inch front wheel and a slim tank. Unlike the other fuel-injected Shadows it used chain final drive, and it was pitched as an all-rounder for commuting and weekend riding rather than as a laid-back cruiser.
