The Shadow Tourer was a factory-dressed Aero, adding a windscreen, saddlebags and a passenger backrest so buyers could tour straight from the showroom. Underneath it kept the Aero's single-carb 745 cc V-twin, shaft drive and low seat, making it a gentle, low-maintenance light tourer.
