Wikipedia records no changes for these years, so the 2003-2004 Firestorm carries on in 2001 form with the bigger tank, LCD dash and immobiliser. Its strengths stayed the same: a smooth, punchy 996 cc V-twin with strong midrange, neutral steering and a half-fairing that made it a comfortable sports bike on the road. The small fuel range of the early bikes was gone, though vibration through the pegs remained a common complaint.
