From 2005 the spoke-wheeled VTX1300S sat beside the new cast-wheel R and the custom C, with paint changes only through 2007, after which Honda dropped it. It kept the semi-swept handlebar, wide, deep saddle, staggered dual exhausts and the low-revving 1312 cc twin, aimed at relaxed cruising and light touring with plenty of bolt-on accessories.
