The original VTX1800C, launched in 2001 as a 2002 model, was Honda's answer to the big-inch power-cruiser trend and for a time had the largest-displacement V-twin in a production motorcycle. Its fuel-injected 1795 cc engine with dual plugs per cylinder and dry-sump lubrication sat in a street-rod styled chassis with an upside-down fork, linked brakes, cast wheels, a drag-style seat and a two-into-one exhaust.
