This is the mid-life VTX1800C, which carried over the street-rod look of the first Classic: hooded headlight, chopped fenders, cast wheels and a dragster seat over the 1795 cc fuel-injected V-twin. Mechanically it matched the earlier version on paper, with shaft drive, dual-plug ignition and linked triple-disc brakes, while the newer N and F variants were introduced alongside it.
