For 2003 the Varadero 125 got a minor facelift, the most visible change being silver instead of black three-spoke cast wheels. Mechanically it stayed the carburettor-fed V-twin of the original, with the same five-speed gearbox, disc brakes and large tank. It remained a comfortable, adventure-styled learner bike.
