The 2007 update brought the Varadero 125 into line with Euro III rules, swapping the carburettors for PGM-FI fuel injection and adding a catalytic converter, which cost a little power. It also got a restyled fairing with new screen, headlight and indicators, fairing-mounted mirrors, a new dash with a fuel reserve light and a slightly smaller tank. It stayed a comfortable, stable mini adventure bike, though slow to pull at low revs.
