The 1975 XL350 (K1) carried over the low-revving 348 cc single, five-speed gearbox and cradle frame of the first model with only detail and colour changes. It stayed a relaxed, road-legal trail bike for riders who wanted four-stroke tractability instead of a peaky two-stroke. Its small 2.2-gallon tank limited range to about 100 miles.
