The XL700V (RD13) arrived for 2008 with a 680 cc four-valve-per-cylinder V-twin, fuel injection and a catalytic converter to meet Euro 3. Honda also switched to a 19-inch front wheel, lowered the seat, reshaped the fairing and fitted a digital dash, with ABS available, making the Transalp more road-focused than ever.
