The 1983 XR200R was the last year of the original two-valve version, combining the 195 cc oversquare single from the XR200 with Pro-Link single-shock rear suspension and a heavier-duty frame and fork. It was the tougher enduro sibling of the twin-shock XR200 before the four-valve RFVC engine arrived for 1984.
