The 1989 XR200R belongs to the two-valve generation Honda returned to in 1986 after the short-lived RFVC four-valve version. It is an air-cooled, kick-start trail and junior enduro bike with a six-speed box, drum brakes at both ends and Pro-Link rear suspension. Owners rate it for reliability, low weight and easy handling in tight woods rather than for outright racing pace.
