The 1991 XR250R continued the 1990 layout with disc brakes at both ends, cartridge-damped 41 mm forks and Pro-Link rear suspension with around 11 inches of travel. Power still came from the simple air-cooled four-valve RFVC single, a favourite for trail riders thanks to its easy starting manners and low maintenance.
