Honda file

The XR650L was launched in 1992 as a 1993 model, putting the electric-start RFVC engine of the NX650 Dominator into a chassis derived from the XR600R. It gave Honda a street-legal open-class dual-sport with real dirt-bike suspension. Magazine tests of the time praised its suspension and off-road ability but noted the tall seat, its weight, tall gearing and modest range.
