The second-generation XRE 300 arrived in late 2018 for the 2019 model year. It had sharper Africa Twin-inspired bodywork, full LED lighting, a new front fender and a fully digital instrument panel, and it was around 5 kg lighter. A more compact ABS unit allowed a two-piston front caliper in place of the earlier three-piston one. The flex-fuel engine and chassis were carried over, and the range again came as Standard, Rally and Adventure versions.
