Horex was a German maker from Bad Homburg, founded in 1923, whose Regina and Resident singles and Imperator twin were successful in the 1950s. The company stopped making motorcycles in 1960. The name came back with small-volume models in the 1990s and, since 2010, with the VR6, a narrow-angle six-cylinder bike built in Augsburg.
