For 2007 the FE 650 e received durability updates described in a road test: tighter crankshaft tolerances, a strengthened gearbox, a one-piece counterbalancer, a tougher water-pump seal and a CNC triple clamp with adjustable offset. It was otherwise the same large-capacity enduro single, among the last of the old-generation Husabergs before the 2009 redesign.
