The FE 450 remains an SOHC single built for enduro, with a plain big-end bearing rated for 135-hour intervals and a multi-function balancer shaft that also drives the water pumps. A gear sensor allows gear-specific engine maps and a DDS clutch with Magura hydraulics handles the drive.
