The SMR 449 was a fuel-injected single-cylinder supermoto with slim one-piece side panels, an under-seat fuel tank and a centralised mass layout. Husqvarna's Coaxial Traction System kept chain tension steady through suspension travel. Brembo front brakes and a Sachs shock were fitted; the SMR 511 uses a bigger bore.
