The TE 449 was the BMW-era redesign of Husqvarna's 450 enduro, with a slim one-piece side panel, mass centralised near the centre of gravity and a Coaxial Traction System keeping chain length constant through suspension travel. It has a split fuel tank, a raised airbox intake and ignition maps tuned to the engine and exhaust.
