The Estrella RS is the early-2000s version of Kawasaki's retro-styled 249 cc single, a nostalgic 'new classic' machine first developed in 1991 for the Japanese market. This version uses a carburetted air-cooled single with telescopic front forks, twin rear shocks and a chain drive. It sold strongly in Japan and only in small numbers in Europe.
