A turbocharged version of Kawasaki's Z750 inline four, with the turbo set ahead of the cylinders to cut lag and roughly 10.5 psi of boost. Digital fuel injection and an aluminium frame member were fitted for rigidity and to protect the turbo in a crash. Rated at 112 hp, it was compared with the Yamaha XJ650 Seca and found quicker and more aggressive, though less comfortable.
