The first Concours 14, Kawasaki's second-generation sport-tourer, which replaced the GTR 1000 in 2007 and was called the 1400GTR in most markets. It used a monocoque aluminium frame and a 1352 cc engine derived from the ZX-14 sportbike, with shaft drive and an electrically adjustable windscreen. It was marketed as a sport-touring machine with a more upright position than a superbike, with optional ABS.
