The KL 250 Super Sherpa was a 249 cc dual-purpose single that replaced the original KL 250 concept with a four-valve DOHC engine, a six-speed gearbox and disc brakes at both ends. Its suspension was set up for rough terrain, with 9.1 in of front fork travel and 7.3 in at the rear. It was aimed at trail riders who also needed a usable road bike.
