The road-legal dual-sport version of the KLX250 platform, using the 249 cc four-valve liquid-cooled single with electric start. It has an inverted front fork, Uni-Trak rear suspension and 21-inch and 18-inch dual-sport wheels for off-road use. It is a heavier, more road-capable machine than the competition KLX250R.
