The KLX 250S is Kawasaki's dual-sport single, with a 249 cc four-valve DOHC engine, a six-speed gearbox and a steel double-cradle frame. This 2011 - 2012 listing carries the same engine and chassis figures as the later KLX 250S pages. The supermoto-style KLX 250SF of 2009 was its road-oriented sibling, with shorter wheel travel and 17-inch street tyres.
