The 2012 Ninja 1000 is a full-fairing sport-touring bike built on the Z1000 engine and chassis. Its 1043 cc inline-four and aluminium backbone frame give it a strong low and mid-range, and the bodywork borrows styling from Kawasaki's ZX-6R and ZX-10R. Riders get an adjustable windscreen and a more upright seating position than a pure supersport, with ABS offered as an option.
