The 2014 Ninja 300 kept the 2013 bike's 296 cc parallel-twin engine, six-speed gearbox and steel tube frame with little change. Kawasaki's page for this year presents it as a light, comfortable sportbike with a low seat for smaller riders, with enough track capability for serious use. An ABS version was offered alongside the standard model.
