The S2 350SS MKII is a scaled-down version of Kawasaki's 500 H1 triple, built as a sporting two-stroke for the early 1970s. It was the basis of Kawasaki's one-make Coupe Kawasaki race series from 1972. On the road it was praised for handling and acceleration, though its 346 cc capacity limited long-distance touring.
