The Vulcan 500 LTD in its later 2000s form, a chain-drive 498 cc parallel twin cruiser aimed at first-time buyers. It uses an engine based on the Ninja 500R, with a gear-driven balancer, automatic cam chain tensioner and positive neutral finder. Its stepped seat, bobbed rear fender and wire-spoke wheels give it a traditional cruiser look.
